Frequently asked questions
-
What can the ID Prodigy course help me accomplish?ID Prodigy will help you build instructional design skills and apply them to create a portfolio. ID Prodigy will expedite your absorption into the industry even before holding a formal instructional design job. How? Because we absorb the training time corporates would have had to invest. You’ll hit the ground running. And if you already hold an ID job, with our mentors’ guidance, you will be able to set yourself apart as an instructional designer who goes above and beyond the instructions given to them. You will learn to add value to the product, no matter what specific role you are assigned in the development cycle.
-
How is this course different from other courses?ID prodigy is unique for its emphasis on practice and feedback. There are tonnes of free videos on LinkedIn and YouTube and hundreds of low-price video and quiz based “courses” on Udemy. You are here because you understand that learning is passive. It does not get you to apply what you have watched. It does not get you feedback on your work. ID Prodigy breaks down concepts, principles and frameworks used in learning solutions into bite-sized, practical lessons. You will start applying what you learn to real deliverables within the first two modules. Once you have a draft of your deliverable ready, you get in-depth, constructive feedback from experienced instructional designers. Throughout the course, you will: Learn instructional design principles and apply them to the given content. Interact with an eLearning team with over 45 years of combined experience. Receive guidance on design and visual layout guidelines. Receive and implement feedback.
-
What is the guarantee of this course helping me?The outcome of this course will depend upon your own effort and commitment to implementing feedback. What we do guarantee is personalised feedback and adequate support throughout the course that you are unlikely to find in any other course. This is not a passive course, it entails active participation from both sides: yours and ours.
-
Does ID Prodigy guarantee me a job?We do not guarantee a job. We do guarantee a personalised learning experience like none other. Since you will be embarking on a hands-on journey with our team, based on your interactions, your output, your attitude throughout the course, we will be happy to post testimonials on your LinkedIn profile highlighting personal strengths and professional highlights you demonstrate. We may also offer a contractual placement with The Growth Perspective if your work during the length of the course is outstanding.
-
Why is this course more expensive than the ones available on Udemy and LinkedIn by similar professionals and industry experts? The price reflects the level of personalised feedback and support that you will receive once you join the course. Courses available on these other platforms are passive information-based courses. When you enrol in ID Prodigy, our team begins investing in your success. You are paying for: Guidance from industry professionals. Gaining real-world experience. Applying knowledge and building working experience with a real team. $640 is an introductory price for the time and personalised guidance we provide to each participant. If you would like to lock in this price, we recommend that you apply and enrol as soon as you are sure that the program is the right fit for you.
-
